We are into the New Year and resolutions to get into shape and be healthier are fading for some and burning bright for others. The key is to stay motivated. Really highlight your goals and remind yourself of them every time you’d rather go out for a quick fix dinner or when you get off work and would rather hit the couch and brush up on the latest season of Desperate Housewives. Remember, fitness is an investment you make in yourself.  

       Everyone always resorts to petty excuses like, it was that second cookie, or my favorite, I just don’t have time. Though those cookies eventually add up, they aren’t the real issue. Look at your actual meal choices. Eating crap makes you feel like crap, and when you feel like crap you do not want to go to the gym, and I understand.  Basically crap=crap.  The trainers will help you cut the crap and readjust your eating habits. Like I said above, fitness is an investment in yourself, make the time. If you must, sacrifice that hour of Desperate Housewives and get your tail in the gym! Afterall, you can watch a rerun on the website!  The food challenge starts on Jan. 10th.  If you want to really show some change in your overall health, commit to the food challenge.  Don’t worry about the details, etc.  Just make a commitment and the rest will work itself out.  If you want to be in on this, email me a before photo of yourself and I will email you back the information.  The photo is private and doesn’t have to be in any particular clothes, just want to see you so we can compare at the end.  DO IT!
