Bet you didn’t know that while many eyes at the CrossFit Games were focused on Rich Froning Jr. and Annie Thorisdottir, members of the next generation of CrossFitters were busy pushing their bodies to new levels just a couple of hundred meters away. Eighteen teenagers, aged 13-18, competed in The Gauntlet that weekend, an invite-only competition for high-school athletes.

Strength/Gymnastics: Handstand Push Up practice: 2-3 every minute for 8 mins.
Conditioning: Teams of 2
Resisted Run T/B
Push Press 15x (wt: 50kg, 35kg)
Sumo Deadlift High Pull 15x (53lbs, 35lbs Rx+: 70lbs, 53lbs)
*Each teammate will do total of 5 rounds. Each round you switch who does run. Person coming off the run goes to Push Press, person resisting goes to SDLHP.
