Here is a great post directed specifically to those that go hard in the paint on CrossFit workouts/days in the gym, but I think you could apply these ideas to life as well.  There are plenty of us who work too much, who do a certain hobby too much, who do anything to the extreme.  These simple suggestions are great thoughts for giving yourself a respite from whatever it is you are over doing.  What you’ll find is that you can back stronger, more focused, and more productive.
