The Food Challenge starts in a few days and I want to encourage you all to get involved! The holidays are classic for derailing fitness goals. I see people completely stop going to classes, gain 5-10lbs, and generally feel like hell mentally and physically. It’s all kind of sad considering what this time of year is really all about. We want to do our best to keep you on track this holiday season. Think we are nuts for starting a nutritional contest in the heat of holiday parties, egg nog keg stands, and holdiay cookie fights? Think again. This is the ideal time to start, because it will limit the severity of the derailing and hopefully keep you from derailing all together. We are not looking for perfection on this challenge. We are looking to educate you and help you make healthy, yet realistic, choices during some of the harder times to do so. So please don’t pass on this because you think there is no way you can pass up pie or drinks or your too busy or whatever the reason. Give yourself the best gift of all which is to honor your commitment to yourself for health and fitness. Do it!
