The CrossFit Games Open’s first WOD will be released tomorrow.  What are your predictions?

Remember, please come out to support your teammates, even if you have no interest in participating in the open yourself.  We will have heats of people going between Thursday and Monday every week for the next five weeks.  Look up on the metal board at the front of the room to see what times.  The main group will complete the WOD on Saturdays at 10:30am.  We could use help judging and such.

 

 

Thursday’s WOD:

Strength:

Snatch Deadlift 3RM, then drop to 50% for 5×2 SHP

Conditioning: 5 Rounds

AMRAP 2min/1min Plank

8 Hang Power Clean (Rx: 50/35  Rx+:60/45kg)

8 Box Jumps (24/20in)

**Scale as needed.  During your 1 minute of “rest”, you will be doing plank.

I vaguely remember him rolling over my fingers mid push up cuz I was going to slow.

Because I hate wall balls, I’m gonna say the first workout will be some kinda AMRAP with burpees and wall balls.

Question. How many times we do the 2min/1min? Regardless, I’ll be there. Gotta get in shape for the OPEN!!!
