This is Coach ALow in Oct. 2011. She is snatching 52kg here. In a week and a half she will be flying to Albuquerque, NM to compete in the University National Weightlifting Championships. Her qualifying total was enough to put her in the A session and in the top eight. To throw you back even further, her log has her first snatch weight at 35kg. Next week we will be looking to double+ that in New Mexico. I can remember conversations with her where she thought lifting that much weight would never be reality for her. Power Clean/Clean/Front Squat: find your best with great form. If you are newer to this movement, do five sets at a moderate weight for you to focus on form. Compare to 7/10/14
Deadlift Every 90sec: 5 Rounds of 8 reps, you choose the weight. Should be heavy by the 8th rep with great form. If the 8th rep makes your coach cringe, it’s too heavy. If you are flying through the 8, it’s too light.
