Do any of you ever feel like you aren’t making any progress or improving? I know I go through this. I can definitely be my own worst critic. Anyone relate? That’s why I am posting this video, to hopefully inspire all of you to give yourselves credit and to remind myself that all my hard work has paid off. There is so much in this video that is amazing to me. Not only do I look like a different person, the movement in the background has improved so much, the facility we have, the equipment we have, etc.
Watch in amazement. This was a video we did for San Leandro Patch in 2011. (oh, and disregard the blotches on my face, that’s just what happens when I am nervous.)
Pistols: accumulate 25 each leg. Those that are good at these, add weight. Those that are learning, the coaches will have modifications.
KB Swings (53lbs/35lbs)
Box Jumps (24in/20in)
Wall Balls (20lbs/14lbs)
*Scale as needed. This is the last basics workout, compare to your score. Rx+: you may use a heavier KB or wall ball. Keep it fast, though.
CASHOUT: For those looking for more of a cardiovascular response, 1 mile or 800m run for time. This is optional.
