We had an impromptu lunch date today and went to an Italian-ish/Californian restaurant.  First we denied the bread, then we looked all over the menu to find something that fit the food challenge and this was what we found:  Seared Ahi Tuna with veggies, etc.  We asked the waitress to leave the sauce and dressing on the side and then didn’t use it.  Perfect example of finding something that works even at a restaurant where you might think you will have nothing but bread and pasta.
