I hear a lot of you say “I didn’t do the real workout cause I modified it” or “I can’t even do a real pull up” and my favorite “well I can’t do it like you”. I thought it would be fun to show where your trainers and other members started and where they are now. Let’s start it off with Marcus.

First WOD: Fight Gone Bad, made it through two rounds.  130 reps.  Now:  All 3 rounds and over 330 reps.

First time with Fran:  Did 50lb thrusters and jumping pull ups. Time: 14 mins.  Now: Rx’d at 4:39.

Pull Ups:  It took 8 months for him to learn the kipping pull up.  Now: he floats like a butterfly.

Deadlift: 185lbs twice.  Now: 405lbs

Clean and Jerk: 135lbs.  Now: 257lbs(117kg)

Snatch: The only snatch he heard of didn’t involve a barbell.  Once he learned he could do sets of 3 at 65lbs.  Now: 191lbs(87kg)

Thursday’s WOD:

5 Rounds

10 Burpees

10 Toes to Bar

10 Box Jumps
