How many kilos is 13.75 tons?  That is the weight of our rubber flooring scheduled for delivery tomorrow.  I do not know the exact time of delivery, but I am guessing midday.  If you are lucky enough to have the day off, please consider dragging rubber around with us.  I will post as soon as it arrives or you can plan on the afternoon.  One week left!  You can do double unders in safety!

Monday’s WOD:

Power Snatch Double:  for those of you who are comfortable with this skill, you may find a heavy, not max, double.  For everyone else, work on technique with a 5x2reps scheme.  Take time on this to improve your technique.

4 Rounds

8 Sumo Deadlifts  (wt: 60kg/40kg, Rx+: 80kg/55kg)

10 Medicine Ball Cleans  (20/14lbs)

12 Lateral Jumps Over the Bar (every time over counts)

*Please use the weight that is appropriate for you.  For some this weight will be light, take this as an opportunity to do them exactly right.  For those of us who this is not light for, scale as needed.  **Compare to 8/15/13.

If there is one Jolly in one mat, how many Jollys would make up a shipment weighing 13750 Kilos?

Vince · November 10, 2013 at 9:53 pm

Well… a metric ton is 1,000kg, but a US “short” ton is 2,000 lbs. I would assume a US shipping company uses lbs, so 13.75 tons would actually be 12,473.79 kg. Yay asians.

It’s shipped from Canada, soooooo now what?

    Jolly · November 10, 2013 at 10:16 pm

Ew…you would respond with a smart pants comment like that, Vince lol.

I want a picture for my comments! How do I get a picture?!?

    Vince · November 10, 2013 at 11:04 pm

You create a wordpress account and set up a profile picture. And yes, I would do that. I’m gonnna stick with my first answer since I don’t really feel like looking further into it. Let’s assume the weight is a metric fuck ton, and leave it at that.
