Our very own Chrissy B. of Eat2Bee Healthy will be running our next Food Challenge.  This challenge will begin after Thanksgiving on 12/1/12 and run through 1/31/13.  Our goal is to help people learn healthier ways of eating and living to avoid the normal pitfalls of the holiday season.  If you want to participate, please read everything below and send an email to postholidayfoodchallenge@gmail.com.  Chrissy will be giving a ton of information and support to all of the participants.  This will be the best 25 dollars you could spend to improve your overall health and fitness.

To participate in the food challenge the buy in is $25 cash per participant.
Food Challenge Includes:
5 day meal plan posted the Saturday before the start of each week (includes breakfast, lunch & dinner ideas) with shopping list to print off.
Email created for specific questions from participants to funnel directly to Chrissy, if they decide they don’t want this posted publicly with other participants. (postholidayfoodchallenge@gmail.com)

Calorie – fat/protein/carb% Guide (This ensures that everyone is eating the right amount of macronutrients, so they aren’t regretting cutting calories to much to see results quickly but gain it back later.  Short term weight loss ideas aren’t the way to go, but thinking long term life change for the diet and eating enough nutrient dense foods will increase strength, stamina, build muscle and in turn help lose fat and inches.)

Daily blog posts from Eat2Bee Healthy on various topics  – favorite paleo products list & where to buy locally or online, nutrient breakdown in specific foods and why they are good for you, motivational tips, etc.
What do I WIN outside of just eating healthy?
The top 3 Post Holiday Whole Food Challenge winners will receive a monetary prize!
If we have a tie for total points at the end of the Post Holiday Whole Food Challenge, we will break the tie with crossfit attendance.
How to Earn Points for the Challenge:
1) Measurements will be taken on Day 1 at the gym for all participating.  Total loss of inches goes towards points on Day 31
2) Fat % will be calculated with my Omron body fat loss monitor at Day 1 & Day 30.  Total loss of fat % goes towards points on Day 31
3) Food/Exercise log – loaded 1x daily after last meal of the day is finished onto the blog for the challenge from each participant.  I will look over the food log and if it’s truly Paleo the participant will get 10 points for the day towards their total.  If dairy, grains, sugar or alcohol have been consumed points will be deducted from that total.  More details on how that part of the points system will work as we get closer to the launch date.
Winners are announced within 5 business days of completing the challenge.

Chrissy,
For those people whom are vegetarian, can we still participate in the challenge? Paleo I tough for that group.
