So what is CrossFit? This is the question most asked by outsiders. Definition of outsiders= people who do not do CrossFit. Definition of CrossFit= Best workout of your life, rinse and repeat every day. But seriously, what makes CrossFit different from any other workout program that mixes intensity with exercises? For starters people enjoy being a part of something and CrossFit mixes community with outcome. The CrossFit community is vast and ever growing. You can now go just about any where in the world and someone will know what CrossFit is, does CrossFit, or is thinking how to knock it without trying it.
On a smaller scale at your home gym, you’ll notice that you’ve made friends, people actually care about you and your performance. They push you and secretly hope they can defeat you the next time Fran comes up. This sort of camaraderie makes you enjoy coming to the gym. You throw that together with outcome, and you start feeling pretty saucy! Your clothes start fitting you better, you feel more energetic, people keep complementing on how great you look; admit it you’re hooked!!! So the next time someone asks, what is CrossFit? What will you say?
