We will have a pledge sheet posted in the next few days as a fundraiser for Ernie’s and my trip to the World Masters Games in Italy this August.  This will be like a walk-a-thon or the jerk-a-thon we had in 2011.  The pledge will be per kilo of weight Ernie and I lift at the Pan American Masters Championships in June.  We will also have a little bonus pledge for the number of medals we bring home.  Examples of how much we will potentially lift will be on the pledge sheet so we don’t cause you to mortgage your home or sell a kidney.  Thank you so much for any amount of financial support you can offer for our trip to the World Masters Games.

Thursday’s WOD:

Strength: Sumo Deadlift 3RM, Drop to 80% for AMRAP

Conditioning:

3x300m Row

*Match the pace of  4/22/13.  Ex: let’s say my time was :56 sec, so my 500m pace would be 1:52/500m (add :56 and :56).  My goal is to hold my 300m to a 1:52/500m pace.  The monitor will tell you what you are averaging.

That’s it? Deadlift and rowing? No 100 box jumps + 50 hang power cleans + 10,000meter row + 40 weighted pull ups- 5 rounds….? 🙂
